Agriculture Forum: State Lawmakers Consider 10 Cents A Meal Program
The Michigan Legislature is considering whether to continue, or expand, the impactful 10 Cents a Meal state pilot project that is increasing business from schools for a significant number of farms and related food companies throughout Michigan. Sugar Loaf to Become Solar Energy Park
The Groundwork Center and other nonprofits have acquired the long-shuttered Leelanau County ski resort and plan to re-open it as a solar-powered all-season resort in December 2017.
Groundwork Supports BATA Millage
The Bay Area Transportation Authority (BATA), which provides bus service for the Grand Traverse area, will ask local voters for continued support during a May 2 millage. Groundwork fully supports this millage because we believe that BATA provides a crucial service for the future of the region.
