NMEAC Holds Environmentalist of the Year Awards
NMEAC’s 29th annual Environmentalist of the Year Awards & Celebration will be held April 28, from 5:30-9 pm at the Dennos Museum in Traverse City. The guest speaker will be Sault Tribal Chairman Aaron Payment who will be speaking on Line 5 and treaty fishing rights.
TentCraft Innovates, Creates Local Jobs, Now Offers Farm to Workplace Benefits
The innovative pop-up tent maker TentCraft is a leader in attracting knowledge-based talent to Traverse City. The company has also created dozens of manufacturing jobs, has an “infants in the workplace” program, and recently launched a CSA-based employee wellness plan.
Brianne Farley: TC Native Illustrates Gig Economy
Brianne Farley is the latest profile in Groundwork’s New Economy series about creative young professionals who are making their impact on the Traverse City region. Farley is a Grand Traverse native who recently returned from New York City.
