Ella Kirkwood: Ella serves as the Students for Environmental Advocacy (SEA) Club President at Traverse City Central High School. She and her team are currently paving the way for a building electrification policy across TCAPS schools!
Tommy Skinner: Tommy is an award winning student leader, currently championing a major fundraising initiative at Petoskey High School to purchase solar panels! Learn more about the progress and what’s next on the horizon for their group!
Christian Groesbeck: Christian leads technical sales for Harvest Solar and will share practical experience about helping schools acquire Power Purchase Agreements for solar. There’s never been a better time for schools to invest in a clean energy future for their students!
John Velis: John is a retired secondary and college educator now working as a STEM consultant for Groundwork Center. He will share his experience and tips from this spring’s solar workshops hosted for K-12 teachers and students across Traverse City!
Ashley Rudzinski: Ashley is Groundwork’s Climate and Environment Program Director. She supports Groundwork’s goal to advance clean energy and climate action across Michigan, with a special focus on schools as key local changemakers. Ashley will serve as the emcee and moderator of this event.
