Broad Populist Opposition Slows Snyder-Enbridge Tunnel Deal
Business leaders and concerned citizens from across the political spectrum lobbied the Michigan Legislature on November 27 to convince them to halt the progress of the poorly conceived bill SB 1197 that would have the Mackinac Bridge Authority oversee an Enbridge oil tunnel in the Straits.
