Join Us at the Michigan Climate Action Summit

January 18, 2019 |

Groundwork is co-sponsoring—along with the Michigan Climate Action Network—a statewide gathering focused on climate action in Michigan. A one-day meeting, the event is the first annual Michigan Climate Action Summit, and it happens in Grand Rapids on February 21.

Nobel laureate Dr. Jonathan Overpeck, Dean of the School for Environment and Sustainability at the University of Michigan, will join speakers Paul Getsos, National Director of People’s Climate Movement; Bryan Newland, Chairman of the Bay Mills Indian Community, Rosalyn Bliss, Mayor of Grand Rapids and a long list of climate leaders to map out effective strategies and action steps.

Join us to get motivated to act on climate through inspiring ideas and a remarkably strong keynote panel. Be prepared to dive deep in engaging breakout sessions and above all, be prepared to act on what you learn.

You are invited, and at just $25 for the entire day, the investment is a great one!

Get your tickets now! Just $25.
The MiCAN summit will bring together the general public, climate advocates, and policymakers to set a bold new agenda for Michigan to move forward on climate.

We’re dedicated to making the MiCAN Summit a success because all of us in Michigan must work to build the future we need to see.
