Learning Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, participants should be able to do the following:
- Gain the ability to educate patients on the nutritional benefits of whole grains and a variety of seasonal vegetables, emphasizing their role in a balanced diet.
- Determine which types of fatty acids meet the recommended goals for cardiovascular health.
- List three anti-inflammatory foods and their role in heart disease prevention.
