Groundwork intern Alana Tartaro is new to Michigan and the Grand Traverse region. This summer, she’ll be stepping aboard as many buses as she can to travel the area and figure out how to get around without a car.

My name is Alana Tartaro, and I’m going to be interning here at the Groundwork Center for the next eight weeks. While I’m here I’ll primarily be working on transportation issues and the “Oil and Water Don’t Mix” campaign.
